According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 3.4% (sa) in August, 2019. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (5.1%), Salem (4.7%), and Atlantic (4.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (2.6%), Morris (2.7%), and Somerset (2.9%).
