According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 3.6% (sa) in September, 2019. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (5.1%), Salem (4.6%), and Cape May (4.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Morris (2.6%), Hunterdon (2.6%), and Somerset (2.7%).
