According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 13.3% (sa) in August, 2020. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Atlantic (19.6%), Passaic (16.2%), and Essex (15.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (9%), Mercer (9.7%), and Somerset (10%).
