According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 7.4% (sa) in September, 2020. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Atlantic (10%), Passaic (9.5%), and Essex (8.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (5.1%), Somerset (5.5%), and Morris (5.7%).
