According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 4.8% (sa) in February, 2024. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cape May (11.7%), Cumberland (7.8%), and Atlantic (7.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (4.1%), Morris (4.2%), and Mercer (4.3%).
