According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 4.4% (sa) in January, 2024. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cape May (12.3%), Cumberland (8%), and Atlantic (6.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Morris (3.8%), Hunterdon (3.8%), and Bergen (3.8%).
