According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Jersey was 4.9% (sa) in June, 2025. Among all New Jersey counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Cumberland (7.2%), Cape May (6.7%), and Salem (6.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Hunterdon (4.2%), Morris (4.4%), and Bergen (4.4%).
