According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 5.5% (sa) in June, 2004. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (15.7%), Mora (10.9%), and Grant (9.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (3.2%), Union (3.9%), and Roosevelt (4.5%).
