According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 4.3% (sa) in April, 2006. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (13.2%), Mora (9.2%), and Taos (5.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (2.4%), Union (3%), and Roosevelt (3%).
