According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 4.3% (sa) in June, 2006. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (12.6%), Mora (9.3%), and McKinley (7.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (3%), Union (3.5%), and Lea (3.9%).
