According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 3.7% (sa) in December, 2007. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (11.6%), Mora (8.7%), and Catron (5.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (1.8%), Union (1.9%), and Lea (2%).
