According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 3.9% (sa) in April, 2008. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (12.9%), Mora (7.4%), and Guadalupe (4.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lea (2.2%), Union (2.3%), and Roosevelt (2.4%).
