According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 7.3% (sa) in August, 2011. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (15.4%), Mora (12%), and Torrance (12%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (3.5%), Union (4.3%), and Eddy (5.1%).
