According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.9% (sa) in August, 2013. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (15.4%), Mora (11.7%), and McKinley (11.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (3.9%), Union (4.2%), and Lea (4.4%).
