According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.9% (sa) in September, 2013. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (13.7%), Mora (10.5%), and McKinley (10.2%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (4.2%), Union (4.3%), and Lea (4.6%).
