According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.6% (sa) in April, 2016. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (16.4%), Lea (9.3%), and Taos (9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Union (3.1%), Los Alamos (3.7%), and De Baca (4.2%).
