According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.5% (sa) in January, 2016. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (21.2%), Mora (13.3%), and Catron (11.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (3.5%), Union (4.4%), and Curry (4.9%).
