According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.9% (sa) in July, 2016. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (11.6%), McKinley (11.3%), and Lea (11%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Union (4.6%), Los Alamos (4.9%), and Colfax (5.8%).
