According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.9% (sa) in October, 2016. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (10.6%), Lea (9.3%), and McKinley (9.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Union (4.5%), Los Alamos (4.6%), and De Baca (4.8%).
