According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 6.5% (sa) in March, 2017. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (17.6%), Sierra (9.1%), and McKinley (8.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (3.8%), De Baca (4.1%), and Union (4.2%).
