According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 5.7% (sa) in September, 2017. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (9.3%), McKinley (8.1%), and Torrance (7.7%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Union (3.2%), Los Alamos (3.5%), and Hidalgo (4.4%).
