According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 4.8% (sa) in August, 2018. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (8.2%), McKinley (7.4%), and Torrance (7.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (3.4%), Eddy (3.4%), and Hidalgo (3.5%).
