According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 3.6% (sa) in January, 2023. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (11.7%), Sierra (6.7%), and Catron (5.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (1.9%), Eddy (2.7%), and Union (2.9%).
