According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 3.6% (sa) in March, 2023. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (12.2%), Sierra (6.9%), and Catron (4.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (1.4%), Eddy (2.2%), and Curry (2.4%).
