According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 4% (sa) in October, 2023. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (7.8%), Sierra (5.2%), and McKinley (5.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (2%), Eddy (2.6%), and Curry (3%).
