According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 3.9% (sa) in September, 2023. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (7.1%), McKinley (5.1%), and Torrance (5.1%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (1.9%), Eddy (2.6%), and Curry (2.9%).
