According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of New Mexico was 4.2% (sa) in June, 2025. Among all New Mexico counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Luna (12.7%), Hidalgo (7%), and McKinley (6.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Los Alamos (2%), Harding (3.4%), and Eddy (3.7%).
