According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 6.4% (sa) in December, 2004. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Monroe (17.8%), Morgan (11.7%), and Pike (10.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Holmes (3.8%), Mercer (4%), and Geauga (4%).
