According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 8.1% (sa) in December, 2008. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Huron (14%), Pike (13.3%), and Ottawa (12.6%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Lawrence (5.4%), Geauga (5.4%), and Delaware (5.4%).
