According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Ohio was 10.1% (sa) in May, 2009. Among all Ohio counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Williams (16.8%), Defiance (15.9%), and Van Wert (15.4%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Geauga (5.8%), Delaware (6.7%), and Medina (6.8%).
