According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Oklahoma was 6.9% (sa) in July, 2009. Among all Oklahoma counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Latimer (12%), McCurtain (11.2%), and Hughes (10.9%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Cimarron (3.9%), Murray (4%), and Beaver (4.2%).
