According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Texas was 4.3% (sa) in June, 2017. Among all Texas counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Zavala (12.3%), Starr (12%), and Willacy (11.8%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): McMullen (2%), Hartley (2%), and Dallam (2.3%).
