According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 8% (sa) in January, 2012. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (17.8%), Grays Harbor (13.5%), and Pend Oreille (13.3%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): Whitman (5.7%), King (7.2%), and Kitsap (7.8%).
