According to data from the US BLS, the unemployment rate of Washington was 7.8% (sa) in July, 2012. Among all Washington counties, these 3 were among those with high unemployment rates (nsa): Ferry (13.2%), Grays Harbor (11.6%), and Pend Oreille (11.5%).

On the hand, the following three counties were among those with low unemployment rates (nsa): San Juan (4.5%), Chelan (5.4%), and Okanogan (6.2%).
