We took a look at the impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic on African countries using data from Johns Hopkins University. The chart below shows trendlines for confirmed cases, active cases, recoveries, and deaths by date.
Most of the countries are grayed out. You can add a country to get it colored, you can remove any of the colored countries, and you can choose to see only selected countries as well.

- We update this data daily based on new data from Johns Hopkins University. Currently, we update this data once at the end of the day.
- ** John Hopkins University have discontinued providing data on Recoverd cases. As such, we will stop providing summarized results on Recovered Cases and Active cases for Africa, starting from August 15, 2021.
