Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of the North Carolina Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) who had an educational attainment of Some College or Associates Degree was 33.85%. Among all North Carolina counties, Ashe County had the highest percentage of its Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) with an educational attainment of Some College or Associates Degree (56.63%), followed by Dare County (45.25%), and Lincoln County (42.75%).
