Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of the South Carolina Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) who had an educational attainment of High School Graduate or Equivalent was 35.93%. Among all South Carolina counties, Marlboro County had the highest percentage of its Black or African American Alone population (aged 25 years and above) with an educational attainment of High School Graduate or Equivalent (51.85%), followed by Marion County (51.59%), and Fairfield County (50.54%).
