Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, there were 2,104,647 people in Illinois with Medicare Health Insurance Coverage (i.e. 16.64% of Illinois population).
Among those with Medicare health insurance coverage, 0.80% of them belonged to the Under 19 Years age group, 11.18% of them belonged to the 19 to 64 Years age group, and 88.02% of them belonged to the 65 Years and Over age group.
