According to the US Census Bureau Vintage data estimates, in 2012, the birth rate for Louisiana was 13.57. Vernon Parish had the highest birth rate (19.07), followed by East Carroll Parish (16.67), and Madison Parish (15.87) On the other hand, Cameron Parish had the lowest birth rate (7.82), followed by West Feliciana Parish (8.84), and LaSalle Parish (10.07).
