According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 89,394 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone in South Carolina, which was 1.75% of the total South Carolina population.

Greenville County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone (12,875), followed by Richland County (11,330), and York County (8,745). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Asian Alone were: Allendale County (17), Calhoun County (27), and Lee County (34).
