According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, there were 317,161 people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in Arizona, which was 4.43% of the total Arizona population.

Maricopa County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (245,239), followed by Pima County (36,254), and Pinal County (20,712). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone were: Greenlee County (80), La Paz County (102), and Santa Cruz County (114).
