According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in Indiana was 462,446; and represented 8.91% of the total Indiana voting-age population.

Marion County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (191,837), followed by Lake County (88,438), and Allen County (30,792). On the other hand, the three counties with low Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Warren County (7), Martin County (10), and Switzerland County (14).
