According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, the voting-age population of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone in Vermont was 6,143; and represented 1.17% of the total Vermont voting-age population.

Chittenden County had the highest number of people who identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone (3,140), followed by Washington County (487), and Windham County (384). On the other hand, the three counties with low Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone voting-age population were: Essex County (9), Grand Isle County (32), and Orleans County (96).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's voting-age population that identified as Non-Hispanic - Black or African American Alone, Chittenden County had the highest percentage (2.27%), followed by Windham County (1.01%), and Bennington County (1.00%).
