According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 50,618 people in Georgia who identified their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, which is 0.47% of the total population of Georgia. Gwinnett County had the highest number of people who identify as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone (7,918), followed by DeKalb County (4,412), and Cobb County (4,260). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone were: Glascock County (0), Clay County (1), and Baker County (1).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Whitfield County had the highest percentage, with 1.98% of its population identifying their race as American Indian and Alaska Native Alone, followed by Echols County (1.79%), and Murray County (1.50%).
