According to the data from the US 2020 decennial Census, in April 2020, there were 5,241,795 people in Indiana who identified their race as White Alone, which is 77.25% of the total population of Indiana. Marion County had the highest number of people who identify as White Alone (513,036), followed by Hamilton County (278,968), and Allen County (277,055). On the other hand, the three counties with the least number of people who identify as White Alone were: Ohio County (5,654), Union County (6,789), and Benton County (7,954).

In terms of the percentage of each county's total population, Franklin County had the highest percentage, with 95.81% of its population identifying their race as White Alone, followed by Union County (95.80%), and Pike County (95.64%).
