According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all of Alabama's cities and places (towns and villages), Birmingham city had the highest number of people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone (137.30K), followed by Montgomery city (120.95K), and Mobile city (96.04K).
