According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census, as at April 2020, among all of Louisiana's cities and places (towns and villages), New Orleans city had the highest number of people who identified their race as Black or African American Alone (208.27K), followed by Baton Rouge city (122.46K), and Shreveport city (105.09K).
