According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for Michigan counties, in April 2020, among all of Michigan's cities and places (towns and villages) with a population of at least 10K, Detroit city had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (77.69%), followed by Inkster city (73.35%), and Southfield city (70.46%).
