According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for New Jersey counties, in April 2020, among all of New Jersey's cities and places (towns and villages) with a population of at least 10K, East Orange city had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (80.26%), followed by Newark city (49.45%), and Roselle borough (49.35%).
