According to the data from the United States 2020 decennial Census for New Mexico counties, in April 2020, among all of New Mexico's cities and places (towns and villages) with a population of at least 10K, Clovis city had the highest percentage of its population that identified their race as Black or African American Alone (6.87%), followed by Alamogordo city (6.21%), and Hobbs city (5.65%).
